Ficus carica Troiano from Botanical Garden - Plovdiv, Bulgaria

The Troiano fig has a wonderful, honey taste. Under the conditions of our experimental field in Asenovgrad, it gives two harvests per season - the first scarce harvest at the end of June (only in some years) and the main harvest - from July to October.

Ripe fruits retain their green color, which makes them unattractive to birds. They weigh about 50-60 grams.

The color of the fruit in figs can vary depending on the growing conditions.
