Fertilizer concentrate for chlorosis treatment

Special blend, prevents the appearance of yellow new leaves, treats  long-lasting chlorosis, supports quality growth

Ingredients: Iron salts, magnesium salts, acidifying ions, additional minerals.

Application: Dissolve 1 tablespoon in 1 gallon of tap water and water the plants abundantly every 2  to 4 weeks. In case of severely damaged plants, apply the fertilizer every 2 weeks until green and  quality new growth is developped! Could be applied all year round to potted plants. Use with caution to avoid rust spots on any surrounding surfaces! Please note, that this fertilizer will affect mostly the new growth, not the old leaves that are already damaged. Do not overdose!

Storage: In a tightly closed package, in a dry and dark place. Durability: 2 years.

Hyophorbe lagenicaulis, Bottle palm

Only in our nursery - young Bottle palms! This exceptionally rare palm in Europe is easy to grow at home. It develops a bottle-type trunk, that makes it look very exotic.

This extremely rare palm in Europe is easily grown at home. It develops fat bottle-like trunk, which looks very exotic.

This picture shows :

1. Old bottles palm ;

2 . Small palms 3 years old (in 2013). This is the size we are selling now!

Bottle palm grows relatively quickly and soon develops the bottle-like trunk. The more light, the fatter the trunk will be. This palm requires only one condition to grow in every home - the temperature should never drop below +15°C and should not fall below +18°C for more than 6-7 days.

Care is as usual :

1. Feeding all year round (in winter a little less often ) ;

2. Watering normal, water when the soil is dry on top ;

3. Provide the place with the brightest sun inside your home. When the palm is outside, direct southern or western exposure in the hottest hours is not desirable, because it can produce spots on the leaves from burning . Inside and behind the windows, sun usually does not cause problems .

4 . Between May 1 and September 20 is advisable to move the palm outside. If you live at an altitude of over 600 meters, you should move it outside 2-3 weeks later and back inside 2-3 weeks earlier .

5 . Like any beautiful palm, Bottle palms may be attacked by the scale insects or spider mites. As a good owner, you must zealously protect your plants and at the first appearance of the above mentioned intruders to offer them shower with the corresponding insecticidal solution .

6 . The soil mixture should be light and porous . When watering, water should be drain immediately .
