Trachycarpus Plovdiv
The plants are produced from seeds collected from genuine palms of Trachycarpus Plovdiv, which grow in Asenovgrad, near Plovdiv. They were never protected in winter in any way. The owner - Kiril Donov planted these palms back in 1989 from seeds collected from the famous palm trees that grow in the garden of the old historic museum in Plovdiv since 1973 and have experienced many freezing winters.
These palms have practically the same cold tolerance as the palms, that we call Trachycarpus 'Bulgaria'. In fact, they are one of their parents.
If you would like plants of genuine Trachycarpus 'Plovdiv', now you can easily get them. Just order from here!
