Agave utahensis subsp. utahensis, Utah Agave, Century plant

This Agave could reach up to 30-50 cm in height and according to some internet sources, it will survive at least -20°C, which means, that it is suitable for southern Bulgaria.

A key factor for good growth in our climate is a sunny and well drained place. It is vitally important, that there is no standing water on the soil surface around the plant in winter, but also in summer. Protecting from the sun during the freezing time in winter, could be beneficial as well.

The small plant on the pictures is the size, offered for sale at this price.
