The ‘Tam Kam’ persimmon (Diospyros kaki) is a premium Japanese variety prized for its rich sweetness and non-astringent flavor. Unlike other persimmons, its fruits can be eaten while still firm — with no bitterness at all. They are large, round, and bright orange with a smooth skin and juicy, honey-like flesh.
