Scots pine is native plant of Nord Europe. It is an evergreen tree that can reach hight of to 25m, with straight trunk and orange-brown branches in irregular outline when maturi. The needles aregreen- grey, twisted, grow in pairs. Cones are oval in shape, grey-brown in color and it takes a long time for them to mature, so there are always cones of different ages on the one tree.
